Mission
To train postgraduate students to be high-quality toxicologists by providing up-to-date knowledge and rigorous scientific training in toxicology, with a particular emphasis on utilizing toxicological data to solve toxicology-related health and environmental challenges, in addition to conducting high-quality toxicological research.
Objectives
- To provide the health, environmental and regulatory sectors with highly qualified toxicologists to enhance public health and safety.
- To graduate highly skilled researchers in the field of toxicology.
- To explain the basic principles of toxicology and their application to human health and the environment.
- To understand how molecular mechanisms, biological processes, and chemical reactivity influence possible toxicant targets at the molecular, organ, and physiological levels.
- To understand basic techniques and methodologies in toxicology and the use of laboratory instrumentation.
- To demonstrate the ability to analyze, interpret, and critique relevant research articles in toxicology.
- To demonstrate oral and written presentation skills by communicating findings of original toxicological data to various healthcare professionals and the public.
