Research centers administration overview:
King Saud University is witnessing a continuous movement in the field of scientific research, as the observer clearly notes the financial support provided to researchers in general through the various programs of the Deanship of Scientific Research. The research centers, as an extension of the efforts made, continue to support the various researches of researchers in the university's faculties. The Research Center at the College of Pharmacy has provided guidance and financial support for scientific research for faculty members and graduate students during the past years, which had a significant impact in raising the rating of our prestigious college.
The Research Center at the College of Pharmacy was established based on a decision of the Scientific Council on 1398 AH (1977 AD). The regulation for the establishment of research centers stipulated that the center’s board of directors shall consist of the director of the center and representatives of the college departments nominated by the college dean and appointed by the university president for a period of two years.
Research Center Council Tasks:
- Approval and disbursement of research projects for faculty members.
- Approval and disbursement of postgraduate student projects.
- Exchange of experiences between the college and other research institutions.
- Assisting researchers by communicating with external parties as a representative of the college to obtain various scientific programs.
- Presentation and announcement of scientific symposia.
- Preparing the annual report.
