About the chair:

Dr. Walled bin Amin Al Kayli who established the Chair for Pharmaceutical at the College of Pharmacy at King Saud University at 1428. It is a base for advanced research in the field of pharmaceutical industries, which will supply local or international factories with developed pharmaceutical formulas, which contributes to providing solutions and research consultancy for local factories, and government regulatory authorities. In terms of the obstacles and productivity problems it faces, in addition to the fact that the chair embraces a number of graduate students who wish to develop their abilities in the fields of the pharmaceutical industry.

Objectives:

1. Strengthening the Kingdom's position in the field of pharmaceutical industries technology.
2. Providing the necessary services in the fields of basic and applied advanced research in pharmaceutical technology, such as making formulations, developing analytical methods for stability studies and their application, and studying new pharmaceutical forms.
3. Providing consultations in bioequivalence studies and in the field of good manufacturing rules and quality control.
4. Creating a suitable area for research to attract scholars, researchers and graduate students.
5. Providing scientific, technical and advisory services to the pharmaceutical industries.
6. Helping to overcome difficulties from the initial stages of drug design.
