Scientific Research Day and Graduation Research Committee

Tasks of the Scientific Research Day Committee:

  • Update and approve the acceptance criteria for abstracts, research evaluation criteria, and the specific forms for Scientific Research Day.
  • Receive and review research abstracts from the Graduation Research Committee, classifying them according to their category based on approved criteria and preferences.
  • Determine and announce important dates (Scientific Research Day, submission period for abstracts, posters, and presentations by participants).
  • Prepare the Scientific Research Day booklet, establish the scientific program, suggest participant names (keynote speaker, session chairs, evaluation committees), and prepare awards, certificates, invitations, and internal day organization.
  • Communicate with sponsors.
  • Update the website for the event and develop a media plan to cover the event.
  • Communicate with the Graduation Research Committee.
  • Respond to inquiries related to Scientific Research Day.
  • Nominate students to participate in Scientific Research Day.

Tasks of the Graduation Research Committee:

  • Update the approved course description for Graduation Research.
  • Conduct a workshop for Graduation Research students during the first week of the first semester of the course, explaining the approved methodology for the course, Scientific Research Day, specific requirements, and distributing the prepared course description.
  • Hold an open day for students in the second week of the first semester of the course, allowing them to meet with faculty members who are interested in supervising Graduation Research projects to learn about their research areas.
  • Divide students into groups based on preference and according to criteria approved by the esteemed College Council.
  • Directly monitor student progress and receive the required forms as outlined in the course description.
  • Announce deadlines for receiving abstracts, posters, and presentations from participating students for Scientific Research Day.
  • Communicate with participating students and remind them via email about deadlines for submitting abstracts, posters, and presentations for Scientific Research Day.
  • Receive abstracts from students, review the number and names, verify them, and forward them to the Scientific Research Day Committee.
  • Communicate with the Scientific Research Day Committee and provide them with information about students and research.
  • Respond to student and supervisor inquiries about the course.
