Mission 

KSU master’s program in Pharmacology degree prepares the student with the knowledge and abilities required for competitive technical positions in pharmacological research and testing, for participating in clinical trials, and for performing pharmacological reviews and assessments in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries as well as in academic and research laboratories which will eventually contribute to improving the Saudi healthcare system.

Objectives

1. To prepare competent graduates with the knowledge and abilities required for positions in pharmacological research
2. To develop graduate students with critical thinking skills for evaluating scientific literature.
3. To enhance awareness of graduate students in ethical considerations and regulatory frameworks in pharmacological drug development.
4. To cultivate effective communication skills in graduate students for presenting research findings to diverse audiences.
5. To understand basic techniques and methodologies in toxicology and the use of laboratory instrumentation.
6. To encourage collaboration among graduate students to foster teamwork with peers and healthcare professionals.
7. To prepare graduate students for leadership roles in academia, industry, or regulatory agencies.
