The Pharmaceutics Department aims to achieve the college's vision of being a leader in improving health by aligning health research with pharmaceutical education and professional practice. The department focuses on teaching pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical microbiology in the undergraduate program (Doctor of Pharmacy). It also offers postgraduate programs (Master's and PhD) in pharmaceutics, in addition to a Master's program in Quality Control in Pharmacy in collaboration with the Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Clinical Pharmacy Departments. The department also conducts research in various areas of pharmaceutics and related sciences, including pharmaceutical formulation, quality control of pharmaceutical preparations, drug delivery systems in vivo, drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics, drug interactions, microbiology research, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical nanotechnology. The department relies on its distinguished faculty and researchers (men and women) to carry out these tasks and activities. For more details on the department's research activities and community engagements, I recommend visiting the faculty members' websites.
