Specialized Fellowship in Pharmacy Therapies and Outcomes
The Pharmacy Fellowship Program at the College of Pharmacy, King Saud University, is the first in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the region. The program consists of two years of training and aims to provide the necessary training to gain experience in various aspects of research related to clinical and health outcomes, including generating research ideas, working as part of a research team, and learning how to manage a research team professionally. The program also offers the opportunity to learn writing skills, designing research, data collection, analysis, and publication in peer-reviewed journals. In addition, the fellow will receive training and gain experience in the field of education to become an effective part of the academic community.
The fellowship program consists of two main sections: the clinical sciences section in multiple specialties and the pharmaceutical outcomes section. The programs are supervised by mentors who hold a PhD or fellowship degree in the specialty.

Study System: Full-time for two years.
Overview of the Primary Care Pathway
The Primary Care Fellowship Program at the College of Pharmacy, King Saud University, is a two-year program that provides academic, educational, and training opportunities for pharmacy graduates in collaboration with the Medical City of King Saud University. The vast majority of the fellowship experience occurs between the College of Pharmacy and the Medical City of King Saud University to gain practical experience in a variety of primary care services. The focus is on primary care research and clinical services. This program allocates 70% of the fellow's time to research, enabling them to become capable of designing and conducting clinical research independently, as well as preparing and publishing scientific papers. The fellow will spend 30% of their time working in primary care services at the Medical City of King Saud University.
